It seems that every person has a story connected with trees, or a personal memory connected with trees or a special tree. Trees are navigational points not just in the physical landscape, but in the timescale of our lives. And every story is valuable – it underlines just how important trees are. That’s why we’re collecting stories here – to see the stories that others have contributed, and a fabulous selection of poetry, click the boxes below.
We will be sharing contributed stories with the Woodland Trust who are aiming to collect 40,000 stories to help them form a new Charter for Trees, Woods and People that will reflect the nation’s passion for trees.
So we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us here, or get in touch with us through Facebook or Twitter. We’ll publish your story here.
